The facts page

One plain page on your website with everything a customer asks about. Publish it, and an AI assistant on your site can answer from it instead of making things up. It also helps the customers who just read it.

What goes on it

  1. The basics

Business name, what you do in one sentence, how long you have done it, licence and insurance, who you work for.

The assistant opens most answers with this. If it is missing, it guesses.

  2. Phone and email

The number (and whether it takes texts), the email address, how fast you reply, where to find you, and emergency cover.

"How do I reach you?" is the most common question there is. The answer should be exact.

  3. Hours

Every day of the week, holidays, and the emergency line if you have one.

"Are you open Saturday?" needs a yes or no, not "check our hours".

  4. Service area

The towns or neighbourhoods by name, any travel charge, and what happens outside the area.

People ask by town. A list of towns lets the assistant answer by town.

  5. What you don't do

The jobs and customers you turn away, in plain words.

This is the section most sites skip. Without it, an assistant tends to say yes to everything.

  6. Prices

Starting prices for your common jobs, the call-out fee, the hourly rate, how payment and cancellations work, and your guarantee.

"From $149" is an answer. "Competitive pricing" is not, and the customer phones someone else.

  7. FAQ

The questions you answer every week, with straight answers.

You already know them. Writing them down once saves you answering them again.
